Recognize that line? Those are the three groups Captain Renault rounded up when looking for the person who killed the German couriers. (perhaps it's time to watch Casablanca again).
Last Sunday I joined the gang for Knitout Oakland! It was so great to see everyone. Naturally I had to stop in Article Pract with everyone and BUY some yarn. It was part of the Gesalt afterall. I ended up with some great pom pom yarn, named appropriately Pon Pon (it's a French thang). It is a rust/orange color -- I have almost finished a great autumn scarf. I notice that everything (esp yarn) I've been buying is some shade of orange, gold, and brown now. So weird because for the last ten years it has been green, green and light green. Its like one of my chakra's is shaking down some released energy --- like when all you can eat is green olives and French bread....anyway it's so weird...I even bought an orange watch...and orange earrings..and orange bling bling bangles (fake). Hmmm...
So in keeping with my yarn addiction (which would make a great name of a CD) I went to Skein Lane on Thursday after teaching my class..and bought a sh*tload of Noro Iro for a cozy cardigan. I must've had my fix though, because I came home in the middle of the day (my class is in the morning) and took a nap for the rest of the afternoon -- just like a sated addict.
Go out and have a helluva Saturday night!

Glad to have you back from your summer hiatus! I missed the Knit-Out and I'm still pouting about the missed stash enhancement opportunity. Hey, new yard, new clothes, new colors... I like it!

I think I was sitting next to you at the knit-out. Were you working on a Colinette shawl? I was the one at the very end of the table, knitting a sock and wearing the blue flower basket shawl.
It's taken me a while to track down everyone's blogs from the knit-out. Since I'm terrible at remembering names, it's been an interesting process!
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. Now that I know where your blog is, I'll stop by again!
